The owner, Yoshikazu Ooi, had the experience of studying abroad in Canada, where he met many vegetarians and vegans and came to understand them better.
Faced with the fact that vegetarians and vegans are inconvenienced in Japan, we started developing menus at our restaurants.
Fortunately, at SHIBUYA HIDEOUT, we have separate frying oils for vegetarians/vegans and non-vegetarians. Apparently, there were a lot of customers who were concerned about this, so they are taking action.
We are also considering increasing the number of vegetarian and vegan menus. We are currently researching mainly side menus and snack menus.
SHIBUYA HIDEOUT has many ambitions. “HIDEOUT” means a hideout, and contrary to its underground image, it looks like it will become a hideout with a bright future for vegetarians and vegans.
