Matsumoto Shoeidō shodō kyōshitsu

“Matsumoto Shoeido Calligraphy School is a calligraphy and calligraphy school located in Chuo-ku, Tokyo. We also offer correspondence courses.
Within 10 minutes walk from Nihonbashi Station or Tokyo Station. Everyone from adults to children, beginners to experts are welcome to join us.

We can respond to your requests, such as large calligraphy, small calligraphy, pen lettering, hard calligraphy, etc.

Consultation required. As a general rule, we are unable to accommodate lessons on Tuesdays after noon (twice a month), Wednesdays and Thursdays in the evening, and all day on Fridays due to rehearsals.

One session is approximately 60 or 90 minutes.
In the trial class, we will do the following:

① Polish the ink (about 10 minutes). *Depending on time.
② Draw vertical and horizontal strokes.
③Write “Ei” which includes 8 basic stipples.
④ Listen to the request and write one character.
⑤If you have time, write your name.

*English support is not available, so it would be helpful if you could bring a tour conductor and interpreter with you. ”
