The concept is ‘Japanese soul and Western talent.’
While utilizing the techniques and knowledge of French cuisine, we embody the spirit of hospitality in Teppanyaki, which is the food culture of Japan.

On the front counter, murals using sumi-ryushi, a dyeing technique handed down from ancient times in Japan, and etched glass, a Western technique, are arranged to express “Japanese” and “Western”.
We will provide you with a special time to enjoy conversation and cooking in a private space that does not feel oppressive by effectively using lighting and dividing it with “light”.

    What is “Kamon”?

Enjoy teppanyaki to your heart’s content, with the theme of the encounter and fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine.

“Kamon” combines “Ka”, which means “joy” and “good things”, and “mon”, which means an entrance where you can meet great food and people.
The concept is “Japanese spirit, Western learning”. While making use of the techniques and knowledge of French cuisine, we embody the spirit of hospitality through teppanyaki, a Japanese food culture.
The front counter is decorated with a mural using suminagashi, a dyeing technique that has been handed down since ancient times in Japan, and etched glass, a Western technique, to express “Japanese” and “Western”. We provide a special time to enjoy conversation and food in a private space separated by “light” using effective lighting without any sense of oppression.

    Enjoy conversation with the chef

Each chef’s personality and conversation are one of the essences of enjoying a meal

What is the best cooking method to bring out the best flavor of carefully selected ingredients and provide the most enjoyment for customers? Each chef at Kamon embodies “Japanese spirit, Western learning” by applying French cuisine techniques and knowledge to teppanyaki, a Japanese food culture, with a spirit of hospitality. In order to satisfy our customers’ precious moments, we have prepared a variety of ingredients, dishes prepared in front of you while having conversations, and a space where “encounters with people,” which is the origin of the name “Kamon,” can be born. We look forward to your visit.

    Fresh seafood

In order to provide our customers with the best flavor of the ingredients, Kamon is constantly striving to find the best “sources” for each season, as well as the best “ingredients.” Enjoy the flavor of “live” foods, such as firm, fatty fish, fresh abalone, and spiny lobster, all of which are made to the fullest.

Blessings of the Earth – Vegetables

Generally, meat and fish are the main focus of teppanyaki, but at Kamon, nutritious vegetables are never a supporting role, but one of the main roles.
For example, the log-grown shiitake mushrooms served at Kamon retain their flavor even when heated, and their plump texture and flavor are what make them so appealing. Kamon provides a stage worthy of the flavors of the bountiful earth, which has been carefully cultivated one by one.

Tastes carefully selected by meat experts

The Imperial Hotel Tokyo has a section called “Butcher” that specializes in selecting and managing the meat used in the menus served at the hotel’s eight restaurants and banquet halls. The butcher chefs are meat specialists who store meat selected according to the season and menu in an aging room and manage it in the optimal condition, taking into account various factors such as the menu, cooking method, and cut of meat, in order to serve it at its best.

At Kamon, the butcher chefs pursue the best flavor every day and serve carefully selected meat at its best. Enjoy the taste of high-quality meat with a good balance of lean meat and fat.

Enjoy your post-meal dessert in the dessert corner with a great view

The dessert corner is a place where you can spend time after your meal. The wallpaper features a plant motif by 19th century British designer William Morris, creating a classic modern space. The dessert menu is also carefully designed, allowing you to enjoy the afterglow of your meal.

    Recommended lunch menu: “Kikyomon”

This course includes colorful and refreshing seasonal appetizers, fresh seafood, a light and high-quality domestic beef fillet steak, and a satisfying dessert. You can also enjoy the interior decorations and Arita ware as an essential element in adding color to your meal.
Please take this opportunity to enjoy it.
