The portions on each side were quite modest, so it might not be enough for men.
It might be a good idea to enjoy a bit of food walking around beforehand before going.
That said, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is lovely, and you can see the courtyard and feel the change of seasons.
The food served is a mix of innovative and simple yet classic dishes, so you’ll never get bored.
The service is also excellent.

This restaurant is located in the quiet town of Kamakura. There is a parking lot nearby, but it’s a 1-2 minute walk, so if it rains, you’ll need to bring an umbrella.
The restaurant is a quiet, Japanese-style house with a very atmospheric feel. All the dishes are carefully prepared. It was delicious soba noodles with the saltiness and aroma of dried mullet roe. The prices are also reasonable.

Lunch
I wanted to eat soba so I visited for the first time. It’s a lovely house. The courtyard is not large, but it’s enough to soothe the soul. I ordered fig tempura and whitebait tempura as an extra for the 4,000 yen course with dessert. It was my first time to try soba with bottarga, but it was really good. I felt the soba more than the soba broth. It was a luxurious moment. There is no parking lot.

I made a reservation to celebrate a birthday, and they gave me such heartwarming hospitality. It was a wonderful restaurant where I could relax and enjoy the ingredients. I’ll come again.
Thank you for your wonderful service and thoughtfulness.

It was my first time there, but as we entered the private room and enjoyed the atmosphere, the restaurant sent us a dish with a handwritten birthday message, which was a wonderful gesture. We enjoyed the cold sake and karasumi as snacks. Next time, we’ll visit during hydrangea season.
