Okinawa Prefecture. They serve course meals and one-dish menus using seasonal ingredients, such as sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. There is a counter inside the store, and the chef will make the sushi right in front of you. It’s delicious and uses fish caught in Miyakojima and a variety of seafood. There is a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, including sake, wine, whiskey, and many other types of awamori. You can see the ocean from your seat, and in the evening you can enjoy your meal while watching the sun set into the ocean. There is a beach nearby and you can see sea turtles and coral, so I thought it would be a good idea to stop by on the way home.

so it’s clean and open, and there are tables and some private rooms. The overall impression was that the food was carefully prepared, the portions were just right, and we were able to spend a relaxing time while watching the beautiful sunset. There is a Western restaurant and a Japanese restaurant on the hotel grounds, but I think this restaurant on a hill has the best view.

When you enter the restaurant, the interior of the Japanese restaurant and the beautiful cobalt blue sea of Miyakojima that stretches out across the entire surface catch your eye. I was seated at a table, looked at the menu, and ordered “Kaiseki Haru” (13,200 yen including tax). The service is also polite, so it feels good.

Japanese food on a remote island was a betrayal in a good way. Everything from Hassun to Mizugashi was delicious and it was a happy time. The sashimi was also properly aged, so you could really feel the flavor. The Ajisai beef fillet steak was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tofu sauce was moist and sweet.
