It’s located in Motomachi Shopping Street, just past the Western confectionery shop Kikuya. The broth for the Sanuki udon is delicious. It has a nice aroma of kelp and bonito, and is also sweet. To finish, add ginger, shichimi, and sesame to change the flavor. The udon noodles are chewy and have a strong flavor that makes them delicious.

You can see the udon making area in front of the counter. The menu is divided into Kake Udon (hot) and Bukkake (cold), and the tempura includes chicken, vegetable, shrimp, kakiage, and assorted dishes. I can’t help but be curious about the grilled squid tempura, and the olive beef udon with a warm egg and curry udon are also attractive and I can’t stop thinking about them.

I was planning to eat a warm udon, but since it was still hot, I ordered the “seasonal kakiage bukkake udon.” The kakiage is made of thickly sliced carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and onions, deep-fried until crispy in a thin batter. It’s very delicious.

The udon is a little thicker than Sanuki noodles, but it is chewy, elastic, and smooth. It is delicious udon that tastes freshly made. The dipping sauce is not too sweet, which is great. I want to try it with other ingredients. Next time I’ll try the olive beef udon, but the nabeyaki is also tempting. This is a great place for udon lovers, so I’ll definitely come back.

Located in the basement of a building off the Motomachi shopping street. The atmosphere is nice, the noodles are chewy, and there are three types of free toppings. The kakiage (fried vegetables) are thinly coated, so you can really taste the vegetables, and they were very delicious. This time I ordered the seasonal kakiage bukkake udon.

It’s getting cooler, so it’s warm. I ordered Kakiage Udon for 1,100 yen. Later, I ate my friend’s cold Bukkake Udon, but the warm udon noodles were soft, while the cold udon noodles were hard and chewy. There was a noodle factory inside the shop, and the sound of the noodles being cut echoed throughout the shop.
