“Mikuni Pass” shows beautiful expressions in each season. It is a scenic spot where you can see the magnificent scenery of Hokkaido. The former name of the area is “Mikuni” because it is located on the border of Ishikari, Tokachi, and Kitami. Mikuni Pass is located in the vast Daisetsuzan National Park, and at an altitude of 1,139m, it is the highest mountain pass on Hokkaido’s national highways.
