Hokkaido Shrine Tongu

Hokkaido Shrine Tongu is located in Minami 2-jo Higashi 3-chome, in the center of Sapporo city. Great country soul god
One of the three pioneer gods. The national deity of Hokkaido.
Another name for Kunita no Kami. Kokutama-kami is the god of the soul of the country, the national spirit, and the god of protection of the earth.
When simply referred to as Ōkunitama-kami or Ōkunitama-kami, it means the guardian deity of Japan (Yamato).
